Hi,
Of course the starter gave up just as we were trying to fire the engine for the first time.
We changed the brushes but it seems like the rotor is damaged, it just won't turn. We could try and buy a new rotor, but it seems safer to just get a new one.
It says it's a Bosch EJD 1,8 12R45, but most I can find for sale is 12R60.
I've searched as good as I can, but only found this thread:
Anlasser F1L514/51
saying that R45 is correct for our model.
But is it possible to also use the R60? If so, what's the difference between them? I've compared images it it to our old starter, and it looks alike, but I'm not sure if the images are of the stated starter, or if it's just same image used for several different ads.
Regards,
Ole
