Deutz MAH 916 odd knocking sound from piston?

Hello again everyone,

Started the stripping of the Deutz and came across this knocking sound that seems to come from the piston area. Is this a normal sound like from a valve or the compression build-up perhaps? Only happens with piston near TDC. Tried attaching a short clip of the sound, but can't seem to upload videos.
