Hello,
I’m new here on the forum, belgian and not so good in the german language.
I Hope this is not a problem here.
I’m restauring a Deutz MAH 914(i think)
I have Some questions about Some parts.
The piston and head gasket i ordered new on the graf motoren shop teile.
Cilinder has been bored to 101mm.
Do someone know the dimensions of the o-ring on the cilinder?
How hard may i tighten the bolts of the cilinder head an piston rod?
How can i know the production year of the engine?

Hey,
Year of Production is 1940 ;)
And it is a MAH914.
About the o-Ring i Dont have any Information, but why dont you measure it?

Hello,

you just need to measure the outer diameter of the cilinder and height and depth of the groove, then you'll be able to identify the measurements of the o-ring:

Hi Dries,

According to DEUTZ AG, it is no longer possible to correctly assign engine numbers to years of construction after 1947!

Hello, several weeks passed and My engine is running now.
A lot of worked done,specially on the cilinder head.
The valve seating was cracked and it was welded in the past!

The kramp foto shows the o-ring i used on the cilinder.

The last foto shows the cranckshaft and sump.
I do not have the number 134 spritzblech.
Is this harmful to,the engine if it runs without that?
